TEDDY BEAR LAPEL PIN

Materials For One -
            Small amount of Sports weight (or worsted weight) yarn
            Size F crochet hook
            1/8" satin ribbon
            small safety pin
Gauge - isn't really very important; lapel pin can be a bit
            larger or smaller, without changing the overall
            outcome.

PATTERN STITCHES
Chain
Slip Stitch (sl st)
Single Crochet (sc)
Double Crochet (dc)
Treble Crochet (tr); YO twice, insert hook in space indicated,
YO and pull up loop (4 loops on hook), (YO and draw through 2
loops on hook) 3 times.

PIN:
Chain 5, join with sl st to from ring

Rnd 1: Ch 3 (counts as 1 dc), work 15 dc in ring, join with
sl st to top of ch 3. (total of 16 dc)

Rnd 2: Ch 3, dc, ch 3, sl st in same st as joining.
*Sl st in next 4 sts, work ch 3, dc, ch 3, sl st in same st.*
Repeat from * to * two more times.
Sl st in next 2 sts, ch 4, in same st work the following;
tr, ch 3, dc in top of tr, ch 3, sl st in top of tr, 3 tr,
ch 3, dc in top of tr, ch 3, sl st in top of tr, tr, ch 4,
sl st. Sl st in next st. Finish off, weave in ends.

Tie a short length of satin ribbon in bow, attach to
center front of neck, attach safety pin to back.



Size of bear is approximately 2 1/2 inches tall
